Of course men don't actually need a bigger penis; we all just think we do. Contrary to what most women believe this obsession does not stem from locker room antics or guy talk but, in most cases, is brought on by something a women has unwittingly said to us.
Ladies look shocked when they hear that but it's true. Most men are perfectly fine with the size of their organ until a woman makes some comment on it. I can still distinctly remember one guy who announced that his girlfriend said he had "white man's disease", or another very close friend whose wife stood in front of about a dozen people and proclaimed her interest in having a guy who was well-endowed just to see what it would be like since her husband certainly didn't fit the bill. Not one guy in the room said anything; we all just looked at the floor.
So it would seem, based on my experiences and those of other men I've known, that our obsession with penis size is more of a result comments made by the women in our lives than anything else. Even comments meant to be harmless or playful by women who truly don't care about penis size, and there are plenty of them out there; can scarred a man emotionally.
I think a lot of this damage happens early on when young couples are more apt to tell of their previous sexual exploits and for some reason guys insist on knowing about the size of the other men their girlfriends have been with. I've also noticed that younger women seem to have more of a proclivity to volunteer such information, especially if their limited sexual exploits happen to have been with a man of above average size.
Now you would think that as a man matures this obsession with being "undersized" would go away. I don't think it does. Instead I think men learn to live with the fact that their wives have "settled" for what they offer, and it would seem that no amount of reassurance on the spouse's part that he's fine helps.
So men are left with only two options: live with it and accept it, or try and do something about it. It doesn't matter if this inadequacy is real or not, just that as far the man is concerned it is real. If 99 out of 100 women stand in front of him and say that size does matter, he'll only remember the one that said it does. I've heard them myself and you never forget it.
This is why the seemingly ridiculous penis enlargement industry is so huge. Sometimes this industry makes the problem worse by inflating average size statistics or using surveys slanted towards women who want their partners to be bigger. You do not need to plant much of a seed of doubt to convince a man he's got a problem in that area. And for most men an unknowing woman has already planted that seed of doubt.
So what's the solution? Ladies remember that even if size doesn't matter to you, even the most innocent comment can give your man a complex about it. Guys, you really have no choice; you're either going to have to accept it and live with it or try to do something about. Do these penis enlargement programs actually work?
